Criminal Records Bureau Background Checks

As part of the British Judo Association’s Child Protection Policy all coaches/staff/volunteers working within the BJA must have a CRB background check completed. We are starting the process of checking all our existing staff/coaches/volunteers in random rotation. All new BJA clubs must have all adult staff/coaches/volunteers listed on their application form checked prior to the club being accepted. Officials requested to have a background check will receive a CRB application form from BJA Head Office. This form must completed and returned to Julie Moores, Head of Member Services at BJA Head Office.
